Beijing Jikedian Renewable Energy Development Center (BJREDC) is affiliated with the Institute of Electrical Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is engaged in the design, quality inspection, and evaluation of wind power, solar PV, fuel cell, and biomass gasification systems. BJREDC has assisted the former State Development Planning Commission with key government programs in the renewable energy field, such as the Brightness Engineering Program, Ride the Wind Program, and Township Electrification Program.
