Top Economists Gathered in California for the 3rd Meeting on Low Carbon Development

On September 13, the 3rd Meeting of the Dialogue Series on Global and China Agenda of Green and Low Carbon Development was held in San Francisco, on the sidelines of the Global Climate Action Summit. The latest meeting focused on sustainable infrastructure investment—especially sustainable development of infrastructure in China and abroad—and explored innovative business incentives for such investments.

The meeting was convened by Energy Foundation China. Attendees included Xie Zhenhua, China’s Special Representative on Climate Change Affairs; Nicholas Stern, Chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at London School of Economics and Political Science; Laurence Tubiana, CEO of the European Climate Foundation; Jonathan Pershing, Program Director of Environment at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation; and leading experts in the field of climate change and financial investment, such as those from the World Bank and Moody’s Investors Service.
