Supported by Energy Foundation China, Kunshan Duke University published the report in April 2019. Against the backdrop of the medium- and long-term strategy planning of China’s climate governance, the report analyzes the necessity of designing the country’s carbon pricing system from the top level, the priorities of such a system, and its economic impacts. It aims to provide constructive solutions to the key issues facing China’s national carbon market, and thus help achieve the goals of international climate governance and domestic economic growth.
