In June 2022, the International Council on Clean Transportation released the 2021 edition of this annual report reviewing how much the world has progressed toward electric vehicles. The research was conducted with the support of Energy Foundation China.

In January 2023, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the Guangdong Urban and Rural Planning and Design Institute released this report on how factors are affecting carbon emissions in Guangdong, a manufacturing powerhouse in southern China, based on a scenario analysis.

In April 2023, with support from Energy Foundation China, the Center for Climate Communication and Risk Governance at the Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communication released this report explaining how to improve climate communication in China, based on a nationwide survey of 8,077 Chinese citizens and several focus groups and in-depth interviews with experts, climate communication practitioners, and members of the public.

In 2023, with the support of Energy Foundation China, Beijing City Quadrant Technology Co., Ltd completed this research report revealing how shared electric bicycles are changing Kunming residents’ life and why they can make urban transportation greener.

In April 2023, this report about how China’s carbon emissions trading scheme can develop and optimize its financial attributes was released with the support of Energy Foundation China. It was led by the Green Finance Forum of 60, in collaboration with the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange.

In April 2023, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the China Chain Store and Franchise Association published this report about how the retail sector can accelerate their decarbonization action.

In March 2023, Renmin University of China and Tsinghua University, with the support of Energy Foundation China, jointly completed two research projects that predict China’s population structure in the future, people’s consumption behavior, and consumption’s carbon emission implications. Their findings were released in these two reports.

In March 2023, Beijing City Quadrant Technology Co., Ltd. released this research report about how to use dedicated bicycle lanes to promote low carbon travel and improve social benefits. The report was supported by Energy Foundation China.

In February 2023, the Center for Environmental Education and Communications, a research institution overseen by China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment, released this report reviewing how personal carbon accounts are developed and innovated in China.
