In September 2020, the State Information Center of China released this report with Energy Foundation China’s support. One of the 18 sub-projects of the foundation’s flagship project on China’s long-term deep decarbonization strategy, this report uses a macroeconomic forecasting model and a dynamic computable general equilibrium model to analyze China’s socio-economic development by 2025, 2035, and 2050.
