Senior Vice President, China Strategy and Analysis
Mr. Jiang Lin is senior vice president of the Energy Foundation. Before joining the Energy Foundation, Mr. Lin was a senior scientist with the China Energy Group at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California, where he was a leading researcher on China’s energy efficiency and renewable energy policies, serving as an advisor to numerous Chinese agencies, the World Bank, and the United Nations Development Program. His research covered energy efficiency standards, low-carbon development scenarios, energy efficiency investment, and energy policy analysis. He is a member of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and the Pacific Council for International Policy.
Mr. Jiang received a Ph.D. in Demography from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China.
