Zhou YU

Program Associate, Transportation

Mr. YU Zhou is a Program Associate of Energy Foundation China’s Transportation Program, supporting strategy development, funder relations, grants administration, event organization, and logistics. Prior to joining the foundation in September 2021, he was a Program Management Support Officer at the United Nations Development Programme China and the programme’s Regional Bureau of Asian Pacific, working on sustainable business and investment with stakeholders including governments, enterprises, civil society organizations, and other United Nations agencies. He interned at the Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank, where he helped organize the bank’s fourth annual meeting in Luxemburg and initiate green campaigns during the conference. He also contributed to the 2018 edition of Blue Book of Low-Carbon Development: Annual Review of Low-Carbon Development in China.

Mr. Yu holds a Master’s degree in Global Affairs as a Schwarzman Scholar, a Master’s degree in Public Policy with a focus on Environmental Governance, and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and English Literatures, all from Tsinghua University.
