The Coal Information Updates is a newsletter series from the Coal Transition Task Force and the Strategy and Planning Department at Energy Foundation China. Based on open source information, the newsletter series presents the latest Chinese coal market data, coal trends, and related energy policies. Specifically, the newsletters will compile publicly available data on coal supply and demand, installed coal-fired generation capacity, coal-related carbon emissions, power supply and demand, and domestic coal policies and dynamics. We hope they will facilitate knowledge sharing and provide scientific facts for decision-making.
