Program Officer, Low Carbon Economic Growth

Ms. Lan Yu is an Officer of Energy Foundation China’s Low Carbon Economic Growth Program. While supporting the Program Director on strategy development and fundraising, she implements and manages the program’s low carbon transition projects based on economics and market tools.

Prior to joining the foundation in June 2022, Ms. Yu had been committed to international cooperation in climate change and low carbon energy, and thus accumulated experience in topics including climate investment and financing, renewable energy, and carbon trading. She also worked at China’s environmental and finance ministries, responsible for the application and management of technical assistance projects funded by international financial institutions such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.

Ms. Yu holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Technology and Energy Policy from Imperial College London.
