Vice Minster of MOHURD Met Jan Gehl and CSCP Director of EF China

Ms. Huang Yan, Vice Minister of Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, met the famous Danish architect and urban design consultant Jan Gehl, accompanied by the Sustainable City Program Director of EF China Wang Zhigao, at China Academy of Urban Planning and Design, on November 1st. They had an extensive talk on upgrading city quality and building people-oriented city. The minister indicated that more cooperation between MOHURD and Gehl Studio, as well as EF China is appreciated, which is expected to bring advanced global concepts to China, and help to make China’s modern cities more livable.
