In 2022, Energy Foundation China supported Tsinghua University to research on a 2025 co-control strategy for air pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions in Hebei, a northern China manufacturing province that has suffered from air pollution. Their findings were summarized in this report in December 2022.

In September 2022, China Green Industry Co., Ltd. published this report presenting a co-control strategy for carbon and air pollutants in Yanqing, a mountainous district in northwestern Beijing. The report was supported by Energy Foundation China, coordinated by China Green Enterprise Co., Ltd., and written by China Quality Certification Center.

In 2022, Energy Foundation China supported the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Peking University to research how Hebei, a northern China province that has suffered from air pollution, should set its ozone target and control strategy by 2025.
