Strategic Communications

Introduction to the Communications Program

Achieving carbon peak and neutrality will require significant changes not only in China's energy mix, but also in economic structures and everyday consumption patterns. Subsequently, public awareness and stakeholder engagement plays an important role in whether and how these changes are implemented.

The Strategic Communications Program aims to develop compelling narratives to explain the implications of the low-carbon transition, strengthen understanding of the pathways and benefits of carbon peaking and neutrality, and mobilize broad engagement in building a zero-carbon future.
