Program Director, Transportation

Dr. Jianhua Chen is the Program Director of Transportation Program and is responsible for overall work related to developing strategy and promoting zero-emission transition of the transportation sector. After joining The Energy Foundation in November of 2017, he has been Program Officer on zero-emission vehicles in the Transportation Program for more than seven years. Prior to joining the Foundation, he had nine years of experience on the reseach of emissions reduction and energy conservation standardization.

Dr. Chen received his Ph.D. and B.E. degrees in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
