Manqi Li
Associate Researcher, Strategy and Planning

Ms. Manqi Li is the Associate Researcher of Strategy and Planning section, where she supports office-wide strategy development by conducting data mining, modeling, and industry and academic research. Prior to joining The Energy Foundation in July 2022, she carried out research at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea, focusing on the application of GIS, remote sensing, and machine learning to climate change and environmental management.
Ms. Li holds a doctoral degree in earth science and geoinformation science from George Mason University, a master’s degree in geoinformation science and engineering from State University of New York in association with Syracuse University, and a bachelor’s degree in geographic information system from Wuhan University.
