Energy Efficiency of China’s Export Residential Air Conditioners

Supported by Energy Foundation China, ChinaIOL released this report in October 2020. It fixes its eye on China’s export residential air conditioning products and benchmarks energy standards of 12 countries in six continents against China’s current minimum energy performance standard to understand how well China’s exports perform in this area. The study aims to help improve these products’ energy efficiency, thereby supporting the global refrigeration and air conditioning market’s transformation toward much lower emissions.
