With support from Energy Foundation China, Clean Air Asia and the School of Environment at Tsinghua University released this annual report for the first time In 2020, which ranks truck makers and models in terms of how green they were in 2019.

After evaluating 22 mainstream diesel truck manufacturers in China and their best-selling truck models, this report gives one (worst) to five (best) stars to them based on their exhaust emission and fuel economy levels, and put them into nine lists that each consists of a subcategory of truck makers or models. This is the first comprehensive evaluation system for green trucks in China, which aims to enhance the competitiveness of green trucks and encourage manufacturers to actively deploy cleaner products.
