In July 2021, the Belt and Road Initiative Center, a think tank overseen by China’s National Development and Reform Commission, finished this research report on how it builds and uses a case library for green projects along the Belt and Road.

For the case library, researchers selected 241 cases from 425 projects recommended by industry associations and financial institutions, excluding fossil energy “clean utilization” projects. They hope the report can provide a reference for more enterprises going global, help promote green development in Belt and Road partners, and enhance Chinese enterprises’ green awareness and their capability of life cycle risk management.
