In March 2023, Renmin University of China and Tsinghua University, with the support of Energy Foundation China, jointly completed two research projects that predict China’s population structure in the future, people’s consumption behavior, and consumption’s carbon emission implications. Their findings were released in these two reports.

In February 2023, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the Guangdong Provincial Academy of Environmental Science released this report summarizing how land use affects carbon emissions in one of China’s top manufacturing provinces.

In November 2022, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning and Design and Peking University’s Territorial Planning and Design Institute released this report on how to integrate Beijing’s three non-motorized traffic networks of pedestrian-bicycle lanes, greenways, and waterfront spaces.

In October 2022, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the Shanghai Center for Energy Saving and Emission-Reduction released this report describing how Shanghai can build a circular economy better.
