Taiya Smith is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Phylleos, Inc., a global analytics firm integrating economic, climate, and geopolitical intelligence to support sustainable development and energy transition strategies. Previously, she founded Garnet Strategies, advising multinational corporations, philanthropies, and international institutions on clean-energy policy, climate finance, and global supply-chain resilience, including work related to China’s low-carbon development. Taiya also serves as a Senior Associate (Non-resident) with the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
