Program Officer, Environmental Management

Mr. Boyang Mao is a Program Officer of the Environmental Management Program. He supports the Program Director on strategy development, fundraising, and grants management. Prior to joining The Energy Foundation in December 2023, he worked for the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, ICLEL–Local Governments for Sustanability, Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in China, etc., where he was responsible for international cooperation project management and policy study in environmental protection and climate change response.

Mr. Boyang Mao holds a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University.
