Jenny Chu supports Energy Foundation China as the Strategic Partnerships, Director based in London, United Kingdom. She leads on designing customized strategics and campaigns to expand the foundation’s donor networks in Europe and the U.S.

Jenny has spent over 20 years working in the field of climate and energy. Before joining Energy Foundation China in September 2021, she was Head of Energy Productivity at Climate Group, where she directed international initiatives aimed at improving energy efficiency in the private sector and decarbonizing heavy industries such as steel and cement. Jenny also spent seven years in Beijing leading strategic and technical climate mitigation projects for development finance institutions as well as for top global brands and their key Chinese suppliers.

Jenny earned a M.Sc. in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
