Program Officer, Low Carbon Cities Program

Ms. Yue Wang is an Officer of Low Carbon Cities Program. Through optimized urban spatial planning, intensive land use, and other solutions, she is committed to creating a people oriented, low carbon and livable urban environment and a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle that contribute to China’s carbon neutrality goal.

Prior to joining The Energy Foundation in April 2022, Ms. Wang was the urban planning department manager at China Sustainable Transportation Center. She is a certified Urban and Rural Planner and a licensed Senior Engineer in China’s professional qualification system. Ms. Wang holds a Master’s degree from the School of Architecture of Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University.
