Senior Associate, President’s Office

Ms. Han Chen is a Senior Associate at Energy Foundation China’s President’s Office, supporting strategy development, funder relations management, grants administration, and event organization. Prior to joining the foundation in January 2021 as a Program Associate of the Industry Program, she was a trainee at the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization’s World Water Assessment Program in Italy, where she researched and communicated gender, water, and climate change issues. Before that, she was an intern at the Natural Sciences Unit of the organization’s Beijing Office, where she helped coordinate the organization’s 2019 Man and Biosphere Youth Forum in Changbaishan, China. She also attended the 2019 United Nations Youth Climate Summit in New York as a representative of the Man and the Biosphere Program.

Ms. Chen holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management from Nankai University in Tianjin, China. She also studied at the University of Bristol in the UK as an exchange student.
