Senior Program Officer, Low Carbon Cities Program

Ms. Weiwei Lin is a Senior Program Officer of the Low Carbon Cities Program at Energy Foundation China and now manages its City Implementation Initiative. She has accumulated extensive experience in strategy development and enforcement, project management, budget management, and stakeholder communication and coordination. After spending over 15 years in the field, she has also gained a wide knowledge of low carbon urbanization, carbon/environmental policy research, strategy design, and pilot implementation, and built up a strong network in local cities, universities, international NGOs, and think tanks. Before joining the foundation in 2011, she was a project manager at the China National Institute of Standardization and the USAID/ECO-Asia Clean Development and Climate Program. Ms. Lin received her MS degree from the Beijing Forestry University in 2005.
