Program Officer, Industry Program

Ms. Xia Yu is a Program Officer of Energy Foundation China’s Industry Program. She manages grants and projects, and supports the Program Director developing strategies and raising funds. She has many years of working experience in energy efficiency and market-based energy conservation mechanisms. Prior to joining the foundation in July 2021, she spent more than seven years at the Energy Service Companies Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association and was responsible for bilateral cooperation projects between China and the U.S., Germany, and other countries, facilitating international exchanges and collaboration in terms of policy, technology, financing, and best practices in this area.

Ms. Yu holds a Master’s degree in Environment, Climate Change, and International Development from Manchester University, England.
