<2050 High RE Penetration Report> Experts: renewable energy may take up lion's share

On April 16, EF China and grantee China National Renewable Energy Centre (CNREC), jointly released the China 2050 High Renewable Energy Penetration Scenario and Roadmap Study in Beijing. The study shows that it is both technically and economically feasible for renewable energy to satisfy over 60 percent of China’s primary energy consumption and 85 percent of electricity consumption by 2050.
