On December 14, Changzhou held the third Air Quality Management Training, organized by Changzhou Environmental Protection Bureau (EPB), Changzhou Institute of Environmental Science, and the Clean Air Alliance of China (CAAC). In the first session of the conference, domestic and international experts from the Chinese Academy for Environmental Planning (CAEP), CAAC, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory gave presentations on the upcoming 13th Five-Year Plan for Air Pollution Prevention and Control, pollution control in non-road mobile sources, city air quality management, and energy planning tools. Industry representatives from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, and Jiaxing discussed their experiences with advanced air pollution control technology with the Changzhou EPB and leaders from Changzhou’s industrial parks.

On November 10 and 11, grantee Beijing University of Technology held a training on air quality monitoring and forecast technology for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (JJJ) region and its surrounding areas. About forty attendees from local environmental monitoring centers and stations in the relevant region joined the training.
