Strategy and Planning

Strategy and Planning

China accounts for nearly 30% of global greenhouse gas emissions, making its decarbonization an important factor in global climate action. Addressing this challenge requires not only technology solutions and effective policy frameworks, but also more strategic philanthropic engagement. To maximize the effectiveness of philanthropic contribution to climate goals, more targeted strategies and stronger coordination are needed.

Through research, analysis, and collaboration, the Strategy & Planning Program helps transform philanthropic support into shared knowledge and resources that can inform climate action. As a facilitator and knowledge synthesizer, the program leverages evidence-based strategy, rigorous analysis, and deep collaboration to strengthen the impact and effectiveness of philanthropic investments.
