Supported by Energy Foundation China, the China Association for NGO Cooperation compiled and published in June 2021 a series of stories about how China’s citizens and civil society take climate action.

This collection of six stories shows the impact of climate change on ordinary people in China, and exemplifies how to get support from the public, civil society organizations, and governments to mitigate climate change while improving citizens’ quality of life.

Describing the efforts of Chinese civil society organizations to tackle climate change, the collection itself helps enhance the organizations’ communication capacity and raises international awareness of civil climate action in China.
