In April, 2022, supported by Energy Foundation China, the Innovative Green Development Program (iGDP) released this report discussing feasible strategies that might encourage the public to adopt greener and lower carbon consumption behavior.

The report summaries effective general principles through eight case studies, before it proposes strategies that include coordination with all stakeholders, multiple drivers for behavior changes, and tailor-made communications.

The authors hope the report findings can be helpful to policymakers and other stakeholders such as enterprises, NGOs, and research institutions, when they promote green consumption behavior and lifestyles in China.
