On the eve of the United Nations Climate Summit in late September, Energy Foundation China, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and the Institute of Science and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences organized a working dinner of Chinese and foreign experts on global climate governance and China’s role in New York City.

At the Green Silk Road Thematic Forum of the Chinese government’s Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation on April 25, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) launched a BRI Green Cooling Initiative. Energy Foundation China, as a co-sponsor, witnessed this important moment.

14 January 2019, Beijing – The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the Energy Foundation (EF) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deepen their collaboration in promoting sustainable energy for economic development, and environmental protection in the region.

Eric Heitz, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of the Energy Foundation, will leave office on December 31, 2018 and start a new career, after working for the foundation for 28 years.
