In September 2023, with the support of Energy Foundation China, Beijing CityDNA released this report analyzing green mobility behavior and potential carbon emission reductions in Chinese Cities.

This report reviews the current state of urban passenger transportation in China, their carbon emissions, reduction potential, and the influencing factors of green mobility. It also provides policy recommendations for how to promote and optimize green urban mobility, taking into account aspects such as urban spatial structure, pedestrian infrastructure, public transportation services, green technology, and a new culture for green mobility. The authors of the report hope to offer scientific evidence as cities in China try to formulate and adjust their green mobility policies.
