In August 2022, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the Rocky Mountain Institute released this report in Beijing analyzing the pathway China can take to decarbonize the power sector in its coal-producing Northwestern provinces.

In July 2022, with the support of Energy Foundation China, the China Energy Storage Alliance released this report discussing an accelerated energy storage strategy and pathway for China’s new power system.

In December 2021, with support from Energy Foundation China, the China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute and the ASEAN Centre for Energy released this report assessing the great potential for member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (AMS) to develop low wind speed power (LWSP).

Since the beginning of 2019, the Energy Research Institute at China’s National Development and Reform Commission and the World Resources Institute have researched on the potential for distributed clean energy in the Yangtze River Delta region in East China and a roadmap for scaling it up, with support from Energy Foundation China. Their findings were presented in this report in March 2021.

Since the beginning of 2019, Energy Foundation China has supported the China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute to study on clean energy development and cooperation among members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Working with six other research organizations, the institute finished this report on renewable energy in November 2020.
